About Us
The mission of the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Michigan Ross is to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive Ross community. We work to fulfill this mission through direct engagement with Ross faculty, staff and students and partnerships across the University of Michigan and beyond.
The pilot launch of Ross Summer Connection, a four-week program for incoming freshmen to prepare them for Ross
Five of the six incoming tenure/tenure track faculty are women, the largest number in a decade
The launch of the EMBA Program’s Ross Executive MBA Women’s Initiative, a forum to support and encourage women leadership in business
The first five year plan
The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Michigan Ross launched in 2014. Since then, we have implemented Michigan Ross’s first five year Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan in collaboration with the University of Michigan’s central Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
The next phase
Throughout the academic year 2022 – 2023, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will collaboratively develop the next five year Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan—DEI 2.0. Through this process, we aim to thoughtfully work with individual units and teams across Ross to promote equity and justice and continue to create an inclusive community.
