Get Involved

As an important part of the Ross community, you can be a part of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion at Michigan Ross.

Students & DEI

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Michigan Ross launched in 2014. Since then, we have implemented Michigan Ross’s first five year Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan in collaboration with the University of Michigan’s central Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Graduate students

As a student in our Full-Time MBA, Evening MBA, Weekend MBA, Online MBA, Executive MBA or Global MBA or PhD program, there are many different ways you can get involved in DEI at Ross. Each of our programs hosts affinity groups designed to bring together students around specific identities or interests. We also have DEI Committees and leadership positions in many of our programs.

Undergraduate students

While you’re a student at Michigan Ross, it’s important that you feel supported, engaged and excited about your future. If you’re passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion or looking to learn more about it, there are many different ways to get involved.

Staff, Faculty & DEI

In the Fall of 2022, we launched Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for Ross faculty and staff. Employee Resource Groups (ERG) are internal formal Ross communities for both staff and faculty. We currently have six ERGs:  Trans / Non-Binary Ross Employee Resource Group, Latinx Employee Resource Group, Parents/Guardians of Elementary Aged Children ERG, Early Career Professionals at Ross, Asian Staff Support Network (working title), Being Black @ Ross.

Ross Staff

Michigan Ross staff make things happen. If you’re looking to engage in DEI workshops, events or partner with the DEI team to host a learning opportunity for your faculty, staff or students, we’re eager to work with you! We also partner with Ross staff on the Staff DEI Committee. Employee Resource Groups for staff will be launching this Winter!

Ross Faculty

Michigan Ross faculty are working in a variety of DEI-focused activities. As a faculty member, if you’d like to participate in DEI efforts at Ross, we’d love to hear from you!
