Justine Shelton is a highly motivated, personable, and enthusiastic student affairs practitioner with 10 years of professional experience in holistic student development. Justine did her undergraduate education at Central Michigan University with a concentration in Integrative
Public Relations, where she was heavily involved in leadership development and multicultural education initiatives. Her passion and experience within these areas continued to grow and led her to a Masters in Higher Education at Grand Valley State University. Prior to her role at Ross, Justine served as the Director for Intercultural Student Life and Associate Director for Student Activities at Kalamazoo College. Her experience includes work as Assistant Director for Student Life at Davenport University, Coordinator of New Student Programs for the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Hall Director in Residence Life at Ferris State University. Justine has worked in various areas of student life, taking a strategic approach to broaden access opportunities and uplift student voices. She enjoys fostering collaborative efforts across the institution in which she serves and stays excited to continue developing programs and initiatives that support student needs, leadership for social change, and DEI education that enhance the student learning experience.
