Our Team

LaTrese Roberts (Barker) is a DEI curriculum developer and facilitator with a passion for advocacy. Before joining Ross, LaTrese served as a Team Leader at Edward Jones and played a substantial role in evaluating policies and procedures to reflect an equitable workplace. LaTrese works closely with the Institute for Sport and Social Justice where she develops and facilitates DEIB and gender-based violence prevention curricula for intercollegiate and professional sports programs. As an intercollegiate athletics professional, she has implemented DEI initiatives at various institutions, collaborating with numerous entities across campus. She also serves as a consultant for the NCAA, where she develops and facilitates Leadership Development curricula. LaTrese received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Masters degree in Sports Administration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She is a devoted Wife, Mother of two boys (Dyrell Jr. and Major), and she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
